The Founders
Cindy Ball
Business Management & Product Development
Cindy Ball is a technology leader with experience in business management, product development and content production, with a love of immersive tech, entertainment and education. She started her career in animation, first at Hanna-Barbera Productions and then at the Caltech Graphics Lab where she studied computer graphics. After Caltech she co-founded Global Wonder Entertainment, a Seattle-based animation studio serving renowned clients like Microsoft, Sony, Disney, Hasbro, The Jim Henson Company, and Logitech. At Flying Lab Software she Executive Produced massively-multiplayer online games (Bakugan, Upper Deck). In the early days of the Microsoft HoloLens team she developed AR prototypes and the first version of the HoloLens backend platform. This work led her to Meta, where for 6 years she led the Oculus for Education program and managed Reality Labs Global Policy Programs, deploying over $50M in AR/VR research and programs around the world. Now with Fierce, she is reinventing the genre of shopping.

Paula Cuneo is a digital entertainment and technology vet with more than two decades of experience across game production, bus dev, licensing, product placement & in-game advertising and transmedia marketing at industry defining organizations like Activision, Microsoft, Oculus and Meta. Paula is a pioneer in video game brand partnerships working with brands like Jeep, Puma, Coke, Burger King, and Red Bull, in games like Spiderman, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Guitar Hero, and Call of Duty. Part of the VR Vanguard, Paula helped launch and market the Oculus Rift, Meta Quest, VR for Good, Emmy-winning Oculus Story Studios and Connect, the largest immersive technology dev conference in the world. Paula started her career in fashion working with leading retailers and brands like Nordstrom, Fred Segal, Max Mara, and Betsey Johnson. Now, working at the intersection of digital fashion and immersive technology, she brings her experience, creativity and passion to bear at Fierce Inc.
